The GMR As A Textbook

The George Mason Review is used in composition classes, as the publication provides accessible models for undergraduate writing. The benefits of using the work of fellow students for classroom discussion are immeasurable.

The GMR publishes writing across the curriculum by both native and non-native students. An author's note prefaces each academic essay, providing insight into both the initial prompt and his/her writing process.
