Writing Across The Curriculum

The WAC program promotes a writing-infused culture through writing-intensive course requirements, faculty development, resources such as the University Writing Center, and publications such as the Writing At Center newsletter.

George Mason University's WAC program is among the top fifteen Writing in the Disciplines programs in the country, as per the U. S. News and World Report, College Issue 2008 (p. 45). This distinction places George Mason University in the company of Harvard, Princeton, and Stanford, among others.
